69db & Mc Tablloyd first met in the Nitro TV studios in Rotterdam where they jammed together for the evening.
The second jam session was made at the first summer teknival in 1999 and after this it was obvious an album had to be made. The album was recorded in July 99 over a three weeks period.

When recording the same live improvised approach was applied and has since become central to the philosophy of the duo. The duo creates a blend of styles believing it’s important to keep the universal respect to all of their influences. They have tried to create mixes that show the many different musics that have influenced them in an equal setting and then give them the dub attitude.
